The Alaska State Medical Board (SMB) has proposed updated regulations that will take our PA practice back in time and we need a presence to push back.

Pubic comment on proposed regulation changes closed on October 3. Huge thanks to everyone who provided letters, called into the pubic hearing, wrote articles and editorials, and rallied to get our voices heard. 

The State Medical Board will likely discuss this matter further during their quarterly meeting on November 17, 2023 – Quarterly Board Meeting, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM to discuss board business. To participate, please register in advance by clicking here.
