Target Audience: This training is recommended for primary care providers, including physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists, and nurses, interested in treating patients with hepatitis C.
Cost: This is a no cost training
Topics include vulnerable populations, patient evaluation and treatment readiness, medication basics, prior authorization, medication assistance programs, Medicaid and resources.
Keynote speakers include Jay Butler, MD, State of Alaska, Robert Lawrence, MD, Department of Corrections, and Brian McMahon, MD, Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium.
