A Chronic Disease You Can Cure: Hepatitis C Treatment for Primary Care Providers

When: February 24, 2017 from 8 am until 12:30 pm

Where: Anchorage Neighborhood Health Center; this training will also be available on WebEx
Target Audience: This training is geared towards primary care providers interested in treating patients with hepatitis C, including physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists, and nurses.
Cost: This is a no cost training
Credits:  CME and CNE credits will be offered.

Topics include vulnerable populations, patient evaluation and treatment readiness, medication basics, prior authorization, medication assistance programs, Medicaid and resources.

Welcome and Overview by Dr. Brian McMahon.

Presenters include State of Alaska, Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium, Anchorage Neighborhood Health, Medicaid, and Private Providers.
